What is the difference between disconnecting and deleting data?

Understand disconnecting a service, deleting saved records, deleting your AccountHub account and revoking access at the provider.

Stop using one service connection

Disconnecting an account on the home screen deletes that connection’s credentials from AccountHub. AccountHub can no longer use that connection for new requests.

Disconnecting does not erase records already saved in AccountHub or an external AI. It does not delete your Google or Slack account, email or messages either.

Delete a category of AccountHub records

After signing in, open Data management from Settings. You can separately delete conversation records, support question records and integration usage records. Read the confirmation before proceeding: deletion cannot be undone.

This deletes the selected category. It does not delete all connections, shared AI memory or other people’s records. Manage conversations stored in ChatGPT or Claude in those services separately.

Delete your AccountHub account

The account deletion section in Data management asks you to enter your registered email address. It deletes your AccountHub account, its connections and associated saved data. Check anything you need to keep before proceeding.

Shared projects and other people’s data are not all deleted when you delete your own account. Read the privacy policy for the explanation of data handling and deletion scope.

Revoke permission at the external service

Disconnecting or deleting your AccountHub account does not revoke permission in Google, Slack or another connected service. The provider may still list AccountHub as an authorized app after AccountHub has deleted its stored credentials.

To revoke that permission too, review and remove AccountHub’s access in the connected service’s account settings. That is separate from deleting records stored in AccountHub.
