How to connect Google Calendar to Claude
Written by the AccountHub team.

To use Google Calendar in Claude, start with the official Google Workspace connector. The current documentation includes calendar reading and actions. Check administrative settings for a work environment.
If the official connector covers your needs, start there. AccountHub is an additional option when you want connected Google accounts and other services through the same AI.
First compare the alternatives
You can check Google Calendar directly without another AI connection. For Claude's official connector, review current availability, Google permission and organizational enablement.
With AccountHub, connect Google as a service and connect Claude through a custom connector. These are separate from the official connector. Check Claude's current plan and custom-connection limits.
At the check date, Claude documents Google Workspace connectors for Claude and Claude Desktop users. Team and Enterprise have enablement conditions. Custom connectors are a separate category, with one on Free.
Try a small check
Start with one account and one day, read-only. Use the AccountHub guide's URL and authentication steps. Ask Claude to list accounts and calendars, and specify a secondary calendar if needed.
From Claude, use AccountHub to list connected Google accounts and calendars. Read the calendar I specify for October 19, 2026, from 09:00 to 18:00 in Asia/Tokyo. Show start and end times, account and an original link where available. Distinguish failed retrieval from no events. Do not create, change or delete events.
Check the result
Compare a known event's time with Google Calendar. A connected Google account may still lack calendar permission. Resolve any reconnect notice first.
Reading events is different from establishing complete availability. Do not treat unseen periods as free without checking busy/free state and coverage. Event creation is a separate step after verified reading.
What to try next
Try one day first. If checking it through Claude fits your workflow, add the next account you need.
